Welcome to the Community Agency School Services (CASS) web
site. Our mission is to be a catalyst for
interagency collaboration, bringing together affordable,
convenient services and resources to meet the needs of
families with children. CASS will build on the unique
strengths of local communities to empower all families with
children in Frederick County to be successful.
We accomplish our mission by: 1)
providing coordinated, family-focused case management services
to families of children who are in risky situations; 2)
emphasizing prevention and early intervention in an effort to
break the cycle of poverty that leads to academic failure,
chronic health problems, homelessness, teenage pregnancy, and
unemployment; and, 3) facilitating interagency collaboration
and cooperation among Frederick County Public Schools, private
and public agencies, communities, and families. |
