The New Forest Society, Inc. is dedicated to the protection and restoration of natural resources which impact the watershed
area in Northern Frederick County, Maryland.
This includes: Supporting efforts to establish and maintain riparian buffers which filter pollutants and halt erosion; Developing
network, outreach, and research systems which encourage participation in reforestation programs; Providing and distributing educational materials which encourage citizen
involvement in the protection of the environment; Partnering with local, state and federal agencies as well as private organizations to coordinate plans for regional
conservation of natural resources and land preservation. As we grow as a society we are prone to make more waste. Whether it be from our everyday normal trash or from our old computers and electronic gadgets we need to dispose of them properly in order to take care of
the planet we live in. There are many ways to recycle old computers and electronics to help others and the environment. There are different facilities you can bring them to be refurbished after data recovery labs
have retrieved all of your important information. This is something that we all need to be more responsible with and need to be involved in! |
