The National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes is located south of Mount St Marys College in Emmitsburg Maryland.

• From Washington take I-270 north to US 15 towards Gettysburg. Five miles after passing Thurmont, look for signs of left just before Mount Saint Mary's College. (Grotto turn off will be on the left)
   
• From Baltimore, take I-695 exit 20 to I-795 to MD 140. Follow MD 140 towards Emmitsburg. At US 15 intersection, go south on US 15. Just past Mount Saint Mary's College look for signs (Grotto turn off will be on the right).
   
• From PA come south on US 15 through Emmitsburg follow US 15 south just past Mount Saint Mary's College look for signs (Grotto turn off will be on the right).
