Guidelines for the Community Calendar and Channel 99

1. The Town does not guarantee the accuracy of the information on the Community Calendar or  Channel 99.
2. Consumers of this information should not rely on the calendar or Channel 99, but should contact the sponsor of the event to confirm information.
3. Events must be open to the general public.
4. Events must take place in the 21727 zip code.
5. The calendar and Channel 99 are available to advertise events by non-profit organizations serving the Emmitsburg area.
6. The Town of Emmitsburg reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.
7. Information submitted must contain at least the following information:
   • Sponsor
   • Sponsor Contact Information
   • Brief Description of Event / Cost of Event
   • Location of Event
   • Date of Event
   • Time of Event
8. By submitting information for inclusion on the Community Calendar, Event Sponsors hereby agree:
   • That the Town does not ensure the accuracy of the information as posted;
   • The Sponsor releases the Town from all liability arising from any inaccuracies;
   • The Sponsor is responsible for viewing the posted information and to ensure its accuracy.
9. Events should be submitted at least 7 business days before the event is scheduled.
10. Channel 99:
    • Events will be removed promptly after the event is held.
    • For recurring events, the notice will be removed after 30 days.
