During May the staff issued 4 codes violation
letters

During May the staff processed 45 incident
reports.

During May the staff met with American Pool
Management on several occasions, completed
repairs and clean up of the pool, and opened on
May 28, 2005.
-
The staff continues to schedule and make repairs
as needed at the pool including a leak at the
facility’s baby pool.
-
On May 10 and 24, 2005 respectively the staff
attended progress meetings with the contractor
on the Mountain View Road Water and Little Run
Sewer Project.

In addition to regularly scheduled Town meetings
the staff conducted a special called meeting of
the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 9,
2005 and the Emmitsburg Board of Appeals on May
11, 2005.

On May 25, 2005 the staff appeared before the
Frederick County Planning Commission to address
water and sewer reclassifications Emmitsburg
Glass’s new facility.

On May 17, 2005 the staff along with Mr. Haller
and representative met with representatives of
AT&T to address issues with the fiber optic
cable being constructed within town.

On May 26, 2005 the staff attended a an
interstate summit of planning officials in
Gettysburg sponsored by the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania the State of Maryland to discuss
common interests and development issues.
-
On May 26, 2005 the staff met with
representatives of Tamarac Inc. In a
pre-development conference to review site plans
for their new facility on Creamery Way.
