Streets:
·
Staff performed a few “cold mix”
street repairs.
·
Staff and contractors plowed snow
and staff treated streets and
alleys.
Water:
·
Rainbow Lake remains at the spillway
level.
·
The roughing filters are being
backwashed twice per day and the DE
filters are being done once per
week.
·
The Provincial House has repaired
one of their 6” water mains.
·
Water production and consumption.
We produced and purchased an average
of 333,589 gpd. We consumed an
average of 300,300 gpd.
The
difference is "Backwash Water" ...
(9.9%). We purchased 341,950 gallons
of
water from MSM this month.
o
45.8% of this water came from
wells.
o
3.4% of this water came from Mt.
St. Mary's.
o
50.8% of this water came from
Rainbow Lake.
Wastewater:
·
The overland and flow treatment
system remains shut down for the
season.
·
Staff has replaced the primary
control in the heating system at the
WWTP.
·
We received about 6.1 inches of
precipitation this month (the
average is 3.0 inches).
o
We have a precipitation surplus of
9.2"
over the last six months. The
average
precipitation
for the period from September 1 thru
February 28 is 21.3". We
have
received 30.5" for that period.
·
Wastewater Treatment:
o
We treated an average of 619,000 gpd
(consumed 300,300 gpd) which means
that 51.5% of the wastewater treated
this month was "wild water".
o
We experienced no spills of
untreated sewerage during the month
of
February.
o
We exceeded the plant's design
capacity on seven (7) days during
the month
of
February:

Trash:
