Role: To assist Catechist in accomplishing the goal to proclaim
Christ's message and to participate in trying to develop community in the religious education program.
Major Responsibilities:
- Help prepare materials/supplies for classes
- Help in setup and cleanup before and after classes
- Communicate with Catechist regarding role in classroom management
- Attend Catechist meetings
Formation: Individual assistance as needed and Archdiocesan opportunities as available.
Personal Qualities Needed: A person of faith willing to share Christ's message and the traditions
of the church. Comfortable with children and able to communicate with respective grade levels.
Time Commitment: Regularly scheduled classes. Inservice opportunities when available.
