Role: To develop and maintain the annual budget for the parish,
prepare financial statements and work with the pastoral council to identify and achieve financial goals.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with staff to prepare financial statement
- Work with Pastoral Council to maintain financial goads
- Help set financial goals for all committees
Training: Business/CPA background is helpful as is an accounting background. Ongoing training may
include some workshops given by the Archdiocese.
Personal Qualities Needed: Good communication skills and an understanding of accounting practices.
Time Commitment: Chairperson to attend monthly Pastoral Council meeting and special quarterly
meetings.
