Incarnation United Church of
Christ, 124 West Main Street, Emmitsburg, held its
annual Harvest Home on September 24 during its
regular worship service at 9:30 a.m. Members of
the church and Sunday School bring in food and
cleaning supplies which are dedicated during the
service and then donated to our local food bank.
Harvest Home has been a tradition at Incarnation
for many years, with the donations being taken to
Homewood Retirement Home in Williamsport for their
use. With changing regulations in these
institutions, the Harvest Home bounty has remained
in our community.
