Sixth grade members of Mother Seton School's Vincentian Marian Youth spent part of their day on Sunday, March 2 at St. Joseph's Church in Taneytown to assemble 60 Easter baskets for residents of Lorien Nursing Home. Baskets included items such as colorful plastic eggs, shampoo, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, notepad and pen and an Easter bunny. Group coordinator, Terry Smith, stated, "The children enjoyed preparing the baskets especially knowing the "surprise" would bring a smile to so many people" when delivered right before Easter.

The middle school members of the VMY service club at Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg, also serve at: Catoctin Pregnancy Center, Upcounty Family Center, Food Bank at St. Joseph's, Seton Center and the Soup Kitchen at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Gettysburg.
