Cindy Grimes of Thurmont recently passed the Maryland Realtor’s exam and is now a licensed real estate agent with J & B Real Estate of Thurmont. Cindy and her husband John, and their three children, are longtime residents of Thurmont.

"I am thrilled to begin my career in real estate," said Cindy. After many years in the mortgage banking industry, Cindy is welcoming her new job as a real estate buyer or seller’s agent. "I really enjoy helping people and am excited to now be able to help others in making their biggest investment — a new home," she said.

Cindy is also co-owner of Main Street Grooming, a dog grooming salon, in Thurmont and stresses that her new real estate job will not replace her job at the salon. Main Street Grooming will remain open and Cindy will continue working alongside her sister Judy and their employees.

By joining J & B Real Estate of Thurmont, Cindy offers both buyers and sellers the vast Multiple Listing Service network. Cindy is also working closely with local mortgage representative Kristie Kirby of First Horizon Home Loans to provide easy and convenient financing for her clients.

Local Musician Releases Album

Thurmont musician Dale Webster has released his debut album, a CD entitled About Tomorrow. Webster has performed locally in several musical groups, including Secret Agent and Jokers Wild.

Music industry veteran Don Casale mastered the 11-song pop/rock CD in Long Island, NY. "This CD only confirms my belief in Dale’s talent. The songs are really very good and his vocals are excellent. He has a vocal sound that’s classically commercial, and is just the kind of artist/writer I’ve always liked. He’s really quite talented," said Casale. Don Casale is best known for engineering/producing Iron Butterfly’s legendary rock epic "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida". Casale’s other credits include Meat Loaf, Aretha Franklin, The Rascals, Duane Allman, and Vanilla Fudge.

Webster’s new CD has already received FM radio airplay in the United Kingdom (and world-wide on the web) on Richard Allen’s "MAGAZINE" radio show. It has also been aired on radio station "Radio Aria" (99.6 FM) in France, which broadcasts to eastern France, Belgium, Luxembourg and southern Germany.

"About Tomorrow" is available for purchase at www.CDBaby.com. Downloads of individual tracks (or the entire CD) are currently available at Apple iTunes. In coming weeks, downloads will be available at additional sites, including Buy Music, Wal-Mart.com, MSN Music, Music Match, Napster, and Rhapsody.
