Fourteen year old Katelyn Keilholtz of Thurmont will compete for the title of Miss Maryland Teen USA 2006 on November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2005 at the Marriot Hotel & Conference Center in North Bethesda, Maryland.
Katelyn is the daughter of Michael and Stacey Keilholtz. She attends Catoctin High School where she is a member of the student government association. Her hobbies include playing basketball and soccer, playing guitar, and having fun with family and friends.
Katelyn is an honor roll student who has already earned two high school credits, even though she is only a freshman.
Katelyn is very concerned about the environment and likes to help keep it clean in any way she can. She is very involved with her church where she plays the hand bells, serves at fundraising dinners, reads scriptures, and helps in many church activities.
The Miss Maryland Teen USA and Miss Maryland USA pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA and Miss USA and Miss Universe, owned and produced by Donald Trump and NBC television. The young woman chosen as Miss Maryland USA 2006 will go on
to represent the state of Maryland in the Miss Teen USA pageant as seen live on NBC television.
