below Average and

Weather
Watch: Fair and mild (1,2,3). Fair but
colder (4,5) with rain or snow (6,7).
Remaining fair and cool (8,9,10) with
possibility for rain of snow
(11,12,13,14,15) turning fair again and cool
(16,17. Light snow or rain (18,19) turning
fair and colder (20,21,22,23). Rain or snow
squalls (24,25) Fair and cold ((26,27,28)
with flurries (29,30).
Tornado
Watch: The Almanack sees no tornado
activity for November.
Full
Moon: November's Full Moon occurs on the
26th and has been known as the Dying Grass
Moon or Falling Leaf Moon because frosts
have killed the grasses and the last leaves
have fallen from the trees.

Garden: Don't hang up that rake until
the very last leaves and pine needles have
fallen. Take time to sharpen and lubricate
tools before storing them away until next
season. Give special attention to your lawn
mower by changing the oil, replace the spark
plug, and sharpen the blades. Remember the
weed trimmer, and all other gas-powered
trimming tools too. Place a mulch of leaves
or hay around perennials when the
temperature falls to near freezing.
