Graduated from Nurses training at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD and served with the Expeditionary Force in France during WWI. Upon her return to the U.S. she worked, as a nurse, at the U.S. Veterans Hospital, Castle Point, NY. Retired
about 1950 and returned to Emmitsburg. She married James Kelly in 1954
