The Historic
Fairfield Inn announces their 2004 Classic
Concert Cuisine Series for the first and
third Fridays each month throughout 2004.
Beginning May 7 and every following first
Friday through December, guests will enjoy
Celtic music by Cormorant's Fancy from 6-9
PM. Every third Friday of the month,
different musicians will present traditional
and contemporary folk music from 6-9 PM.
Enjoy the Chef's Friday night "Classic
Concert Cuisine", which features a special
dish each evening, along with the Inn's full
menu and wine list.
Cormorant's Fancy,
back by popular demand, performs traditional
Irish songs, slow airs, jigs and reels. The
six-piece instrumental and choral group
includes Andy Rosenfeld, Dan Diviney, Joel
Folkemer, Stephen Folkemer, Curtis Rockwell,
Margaret Folkemer, and Beth Folkemer. Enjoy
the melodies of unique instruments including
the penny whistle, concertina, mandolin, and
mountain dulcimer. Sing-along or sit back
and enjoy the British Isles music of
Cormorant's Fancy.
Honoring The
Fairfield Inn's 247-year history as a
tavern, restaurant and inn, music from the
18th and 19th Centuries will be performed on
the third Friday of each month. May 21, Andy
Rosenfeld, Dan Diviney, Joel Folkemer and
Stephen Folkemer, all of Cormorant's Fancy,
return for an evening of musical merriment.
Join The Fairfield Inn as they present Civil
War Era, American folk music, and
traditional British Isle tunes. June 18,
Curtis Rockwell & Friends will entertain as
the Classic Concert Cuisine series
continues. The group plays traditional and
contemporary folk music from America and the
British Isles. Each third Friday concert
will run 6-9 PM.
