2017 Bach Calendar Proceeds to Benefit Habitat for Humanity

(10/19) Jennifer and John Grove, owners of Bach & Associates, Inc., Realtors® recently released the firm’s 2017 calendar, "Frederick County Sky Views," featuring aerial photography of Frederick County by C. Kurt Holter. Each year, the real estate firm produces a calendar by a local photographer to give to its customers. A portion of the calendars is also given to a non-profit organization for use as a fund-raising tool. The Groves selected Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, MD (HHFCMD) affiliate, this year.

"While all Frederick County non-profit organizations are important, we felt a particular affinity for Habitat for Humanity because of its mission," said Jennifer Grove, president and broker of record at Bach & Associates. Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness. Since 1993, the Frederick County affiliate has built or renovated 34 local homes, transforming the lives of 116 Frederick County adults and children.

Holter, a commercial photographer and native of Frederick County, launched his freelance career in 1987 after serving as chief photographer at the Frederick News Post for 11 years. "Kurt’s aerial photos capture the incredible beauty and diversity of Frederick County – Maryland’s largest county. The images allow you to see the county in ways you never have before. It’s quite remarkable," said Ms. Grove, who with her husband purchased Bach & Associates this past year.

Copies of the calendar can be purchased for $5 at the Habitat Frederick Restore at 622 N. Market Street in downtown Frederick beginning November 7. Calendars can also be purchased at the Bach & Associates office at 5301 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD. For more information, call 301-695-9600.
