Ms. Linda Littell, RN has accepted the position of Parish Nurse Coordinator Caring Hands of Emmitsburg, Inc

(9/10/2003) Caring Hands of Emmitsburg, Inc., an interfaith caregiving ministry, is pleased to announce that Ms. Linda Littell, RN has accepted the position of Parish Nurse Coordinator.

“Linda has a wide variety of nursing experience and brings a Christ-like enthusiasm for serving others to Caring Hands,” says Rev. Wade Martin, Chairman Caring Hands Board of Directors.

Ms. Littell will begin her work in the Emmitsburg community September 1, 2003 by assessing the needs of the community and establishing relationships with all the churches and service organizations in the area. 

Caring Hands of Emmitsburg is a partnership between the local religious community, St. Catherine’s Nursing Center, The Provincial House, Seton Center, and the Frederick County Health Department.

The primary objective of Caring Hands of Emmitsburg is to improve the access and delivery of health care services to those in need within the Emmitsburg and surrounding areas in a cost-effective manner, based on partnerships, relationships, community-based services, and volunteerism.
